PROMPT NUMBER FORTY

Jeez, that's a lot of prompts! Can't believe it's been a whole year - I've really got to get back on top of things.

Of course, that means I have to finish these darn college applications first. -___-

And, in the spirit of that:

Write a short story (1-10k prose; .333-3.333k verse) based on the following:

"The last time I checked, you didn't have to apply to become a demon from hell."
