So...........PROMPT(s) NUMBER 26

We are halfway, people!! And since there was no final decision on what we were going to do for our halfway point, I decided to go with the tentative suggestion of leaving a prompt and taking one.

We'll each leave a prompt in the comments of this entry, and take somebody else's. Hey, maybe you'll find a few that inspire you, and take more than one of them! Either way, I think this sounds like fun!

I'm going to leave MY prompt in this entry, though...

Write 1,000-10,000 words of prose (or ya know, 333-3,333 words of the other) based on the following prompt:

"Ohhh we're halfway there
Woaahhh-oh! Livin' on a prayer."

I know, I know...but I couldn't help myself. LOL.

But here's a serious one:

"At least one of these things is a lie."

  1. And an extra prompt, just for fun:

The names have been changed to protect the innocent...

  2. OOH OH oH DIBS ON "AT LEAST ONE OF THESE THINGS IS A LIE." :DDD got an idea already.

  3. aw crap, totally forgot to 'leave one'. XD Hokay. Let's see.

Write a short story of 1,000-10,000 words based on the following:

Her first day at school didn't go quite as planned. That could be attributed to one of three things: 1) She was the new kid. 2) She talked to the Hot Guy in the sophomore class. And 3) One of them was dead.

  4. Hahaha, love your prompt Winter :D

  5. I can't decide!!!!

    Here's my prompt:
This is what happens when you take a wolf skin, an apple and a magic bean and set off on a quest.

  6. Hahaha, aww a magic bean *hugs it* I love your quotes of randomness Jenn ;)

  7. A quest prompt! PERFECT! just what I needed for the next Caitlin story. :P and, actually, I think I can use all the others too. oh, it's a glorious halfway point, it is. :)

  8. You know I was sort of thinking about Caitlin when I wrote it. But I was also thinking about Midas.

  9. If I can leave a second prompt:
You know, the sequels are never as good as the originals.

  10. I say, the more prompts the better!! My only problem now is choosing one... :O

  11. Hope I'm not too late to post one.

Sometimes you have to stare down little girls to save your stickers. That's just the way it is.

  12. It's never too late! Bring on the prompts! hehe

Love your one Brooke :) Argh, sooo many to choose from!

  13. -bows- Thank you. Thank you.

I thought of it a few weeks ago when I was sitting at the library, watching this little girl try to sneak up and steal our little prize stickers.

I'm going with Jennifer's second prompt. I already have an idea.

I finally finished last week's story. I'll be posting it later after a quick read through.

  14. Going for the 'quest' prompt...though don't think it'll have a magic bean or a wolfskin in it. hehe.

  15. I forgot to leave here goes. "You wouldn't think a cookie would be a hazardous material, even if it is white chip macadamia nut. You'd be wrong." :P

  16. I know I'm woefully behind, but I'd like to nab the cookie prompt!

I'll leave one for anybody else who's terribly late(I'm borrowing from Tolkien a bit, eek!)... "He decided that maintaining a local reputation was one of the most bothersome things to do, but swords, after all, were not meant to be stashed in cupboards."

Word verification is ON because this blog is closed and I hate spam, which I was getting some of. SORRY :( I do hate those captcha things with a deadly vehemence.
